Making the Digipak

For the Digipak, I began by finding the base background images which for our idea, used space with a purple base colour. I also cropped out part of the bottom right image and stretched it across the guidelines to use for the spine of the Digipak

Considering that the album is called 'Daisies of the Galaxy' obviously using daisies as a theme in our Digipak was a must have, so going along with James idea, for the front cover is a daisy with the earth in the centre of the daisy, and for the back cover, daisy petals flying about, and also a large daisy is placed in the top left corner where the CD of the album would be placed

I then added the necessary labels such as the parental advisory label on the front cover, a barcode on the back and also the record labels logo above the barcode. Also on the inside cover of the album I added four screenshots from the album, some of them being out takes of clips that weren't used in the film such as when someone started laughing or a scene was shot wrong.

Finally I added the text for the Title, the tracklist and the legal information. The font I used is called Cinema Gothic BTN Shadow and I used this because I thought it fitted well with the theme of space what with the lettering being quite bold and standing out. At first I had a bit of trouble with getting the text colour right for the list of songs as black didn't really stand out well so I decided to copy the text and make the copy text white and over-layed it on the back text so that it had a sort of background to come off of and the text was more visible this way

Here is the final image of the Digipak
