Digipak Feedback session

Our class all got together after creating a few designs for our Digipaks and presented them to the class to get feedback on our ideas, and to help groups decide which ideas would get a general better reaction as we voted for specific ideas from what each group had shown.

From our session we showed our two ideas and explained them to the class

The first idea depicting the main singer and the guitarist lying/sitting in a field, the guitarist playing, The title of the album "Daisies of the Universe" and also the Explicit Parental Advisory label for the front cover, the back cover being a Daisy covering the entire back cover with the track list in the middle of the daisy.

The second idea done by James is more centred around the name of the actual album and shows a Daisy literally floating through space for the front cover, although the Centre of the daisy is Earth, with "Daisies of the Universe" written around the petals of the daisy, and the Explicit Parental Advisory label in the corner as well. The back cover showing the continuation of the space image used on the front cover, but this time showing an actual daisy with fallen petals flowing around the image and the track list overlaying.

From this feedback was given and a vote was taken to see which elements would be best used for the cover of the album, After general discussion it was decided that the Cover and Back cover that James did will be used for the outside and the Daisy image that was originally for a back cover from My design will be used for the inside cover where the leaflet or the CD holder image will go.
