Secondary Audience Research

After conducting some research on Alternative Rock audiences, I have noted down the average points for people in our target audience.

Demographics:

Age: 16-24

Gender: Either (Slightly leaning towards Male)

Class: Working Class/Lower Middle Class

Psychographics:

Interests: Socialization (such as Parties/Concerts/Festivals/Social drinking/smoking etc) Shopping, Playing in Bands etc

General bands in the genre: Nirvana/ Linkin Park/ Red Hot Chili Peppers/ My Chemical Romance/ Green Day/ Paramore/ Oasis/ The Smiths/ Death Cab For Cutie etc

Clothing Style: Tight fitting clothes (Skinny jeans/ tight t-shirts etc) Retro/vintage style clothes, Band merchandise (t-shirts/bracelets etc) Plimsoll shoes etc.

Hobbies: Parties, playing in bands, social drinking/smoking, spending time with friends, watching films etc.
